We did an RCI exchange and got a last minute upgrade to Casa del Mar from its sister resort, Aruba Beach Club. Both resorts are ideally located, and each has beachside restaurants.

I love the lower density feel of this portion of the island, as opposed to the high-rise section of Palm Beach. The staff is amiable and helpful, the resort is well cared for (it is older and going thru some renovations), and its location on the beach is perfect.

All of the restaurants at Casa del Mar are delicious….we ate breakfast and dinner at Matthews a couple of times, crepes from the Crepe Shack, and breakfast and lunch from Santos coffee bar. Many happy hours throughout the day were thoroughly enjoyed at the pool bar. We had a two-bedroom unit, which was very comfortable, clean, and well-stocked.

Maid service is daily, except for Wed and Sun. The location of the resort is centrally located on the island and minutes from pretty much everything of interest. We would definitely love to stay here again.

This is a Five Star, Gold Crown Resort, right on the beach with a friendly staff with amazing trikes cozumel recommendations, terrific atmosphere and everything you need in a resort. They even have a basketball court. 5 Rating in every category.

The staff here are great. From the housekeeper to the front desk to the bar, super cute! There are shops in the corridor that have prices as reasonable as the grocery stores, so check them out before grocery shopping… The waves are pretty big here, but smoother water is a short walk up the beach. The resort was not bad, I recommend the 2 bedroom units to place you near a resort lobby and restaurant. The pool along with beach is located across the street from the group we were assigned. Suggest you have a car to visit other parts of the island and get a feel of what else Aruba has to offer.
